neilsmith
Well after crashing my last n/a conversion in the summer i had to get another one so i did, decided to make a new thread of it.Picked up another n/a for £450 with 6 months m.o.t and only 60k on the clock! My engine that was in the car i crashed was all ok (thank god) so i could salvage that and the rest of the front end for the new build.Anyway hers some pics of how it started and how it is now.The day i got her. (same day i crashed my last one)The next day i got the 4efte in her!A few weeks later me and my mate set about getting her paintedThe roof flattened and polishedThen picked up some nooiice wheels for her, still sitting far to high tho on the standard n/a suspensionGot her lowered a bit (not on coilovers yet tho)Then i picked up a jperformance front mount intercooler for a reasonable price. Also got a jperformance exhaust system for her, got that for a reasonable price to Picked up an emanage blue the other night also to be mapped with the td04 some point at the end of january or start of february. Now shes standing without a clutch or gearbox as i had to replace the old clutch after putting a td04 kit on her, currently waiting on new wishbones and polybushes coming so i thought i would clean up the arches, possibly under seal them if i get round to it in the next few days.Got an exedy stage 2 paddleclutch for her and got the flywheel lightned strenghtned and balanced Was bored yesterday so thought i would paint the gearbox to make it look a bit better. Thats it for now though, will be another update in the new year.
