andy.i Posted December 28, 2011 Author Share Posted December 28, 2011 previous owner did the clutch less than 5000miles ago though, which is what im a bit worried about.il replace the bearing first as its not too big a job to take it all off. any ideas where to get one? Starlet__SR Posted December 28, 2011 Share Posted December 28, 2011 Sounds like the input shaft bearing, if it was the release bearing it would grind when you press the clutch, if the noise is there when the clutch is depressed its the input shaft bearing.
