hey guys tried searching the forum for this but struggled so dont know if its been up before or if theres any guides basically is there a way of making your own diy hybrid by grinding out or getting the turbo turned out on a lathe.

I got my turbo ported at a local recon place cost me £50 well worth it I think I have had no boost creep problems at all. I found this which I though was interesting : http

Anyone ever given it a go?

The inner housing of a good hybrid should be honed smoothed and enlarged as far as im aware. I guess that must take special tooling. I could be wrong on that though...

We have Ct9 rebuild kits but remember its important to get them balanced, without this its pointless rebuilding. We've never seen a turbo within 5 x the spec they should be balanced to.

We also port the wastegate housings etc and enlarged pennies should you require.
