right i put a thread on another starlet forum but thought would post on here too im not hitting full boost until around 5500-6000 revs i have a forged ep82 running 1.2 bar and 268.1 bhp , got told when i bought it that for it too boost earlyer need to drill out where the old actuator was and put a bolt in it too close it properly? it has allready been welded but has a slight bit of play isn't it ! just wondering what you think i should do drill it out and put a bolt through ? or open up the turbo housing and weld the circular valve what the actuator controls shut ? i have no actuator by the way i now have blitz ebc

here is the current weld on the old actuator bracket

im running external wastegate yes mate and im not too sure whether the internal wastegate is welded shut as i havent had the turbo housing apart but the actuator bolt which i have a pic of at the top of the page is welded shut but still has some play isn't it! im controlling boost through a blitz electronic boost controller had a look through the "boost" settings on the actual ebc but i wasnt confident in changing anything as there was a few things i dont know what they do .
