New intercooler = problem :(

I got a rx7 top mount and put it on my little starlet but since putting it on I have noticed when reaching 6k+ revs it feels like I'm letting off and putting back on the gas? I have noticed that I'm now boosting a little higher around 12 psi so I can't be hitting fuel cut off. Any one have any ideas? If you want more info just ask

Your boost level will increase as you have allowed more air in via the bigger cooler.If you where hitting fuel cut im sure you would know? as it feels like hitting a brick wall!!

make sure you dont have a boost leak from somewhere mate check all you pipes and clamps ect even check the cooler for any kind of damage or cracks

You will be nudging fuel cut. 12 psi is around 0.8 bar, i imagine you are spiking just above or your gauge isnt 100% accurate.

ecu or a fcd then pal will sove the problem, just make sure you get the fueling sorted too if your hitting fuel cut or just over, rising rate fuel pressure reg or as said a ecu

Yes easiest solution lower boost till your happy or if u want to run with it then I would suggest e-manage I had nick at tuning developments set mine up and it was transformed into a beast
