LeeroyV Posted February 20, 2012 Share Posted February 20, 2012 right i have to all components ready to do the td04 route (allbeit toyosports route) but im just wondering after taking the V out for a run (quick rag) today wether the extra lag on the TD04 will be a pain compaired to the CT9?? i mean i love the fact that i can be on my way at 2800rpm and enjoying the spool!!!! is going TD04 gonna damper things??im wondering wether to wait till i get round to finally building/buying a forged lump later in the year to fit the TD04 setup and save getting a remap now??!!??!! LeeG Posted February 20, 2012 Share Posted February 20, 2012 if anything its better imo, when crusing down mway at 70 the cars at about 3k rpm so turbo isn't in boost and gets better mpg i found, plus the way a td04 glanza brings in the power is way more fun reminds me of old escort rs turbo's. personnal u wont regret it. B11G KY Posted February 24, 2012 Share Posted February 24, 2012 That mani will crack on idle with heat wrap on it lol...if you want it to last atleast 6 months get that of now! its probebly cracking under room temprature as we speak lol....no but seriously great little mani and decat for the price especially if your on a budget build, i used one for allmost a year and had to weld both decat and mani twice even though it was braced up Quote Link to post Share on other sites
