VICKERS
Just wondering if anyone knows if i fit a decat on the glanza, will it still run ok? Or will i be fuel cutting?
funny onion
depend what else you've done- standard mani? full exhaust system? intercooler? air filter relocation?
VICKERS
Cat back , and air filter thats it:)
funny onion
you might hit fuel cut, mine used to hit fuel cut all the time. just get a boost gauge in it and keep an eye on the boost and let of if it's creeping towards 0.85 bar (when fuel cut kicks in)
VICKERS
I have a boost gauge atm and its reading 1.0 of boost no fuel cut tho
funny onion
do you have a fcd or different ecu?
VICKERS
No the car is standard , am wordering if the gauge is out,as it is mechanic.my old ep82 use to cut alot at a bar
funny onion
mine boosted to 0.6, then after about 4000rpm it shot right up to 1.1/1.2 bar before the fuel cut had chance to kick in. standard actuator was buggered. i'd say decat it, worry about fuel cut if and when. it's not a good thing but not the end of the world. Mat-Richmond
Decatting makes a good difference pal! Well worth doing if you hit fuel cut might be worth getting either ecu, a fcd or adjustable actuator to keep the boost below cut point
VICKERS
Yeah mate i think am going to, have you decatted yours?
pick1
I de-catted mine it was one of the first things I did and ha an exhaust system on it I started to hit fuel cut but if u careful an watch your gauge u can let of before you hit it or while u save up for management or fcd etc
