Flat spots :(

I seem to have developed a flat spot in 3rd gear and in 4th sometimes but its only when i put my foot down, im stumped to what could be causing it! I have a standard air box, well completely standard engine at 113k just had cat back system fitted though

hopefully someone can shed some light on what could be causing this.

I noticed mine being a bit slower today, think it's just the hot weather!

I.don't think its that I just took her for a spin and I have flat spots in 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th

Hmm check your plugs and leads?

Plugs and leads are ok I had a slightly sticky throttle cable but sorting it made no difference

how would i check these things? Its very annoying I go to over take and its like a massive pause in the engine and then suddenly catches up. if I put my foot down at 2k will go to 3-4k and then drop down and then will catch up to the revs it should be at.

are you runnin a fte mani and throttle body?

corolla inlet mani and standard throttle body standard exhaust mani

put a vid up mate, sounds like clutch slip they way its being described.

I will try at some point if I can I can be going along in 3rd decide to put my foot down and it would still do it :/

Have you tightend the throttle cable properly on the corolla manifold? getting full pedal movement in sync with the throttle body butterfly?

I wouldn't have a clue asad its been on there since I brought the car almost a year ago and I never had this problem before
