What did you use to polish the FMIC dude?

Just a combination of G6 rubbing compound, metal polish and a scourer.....just takes a load of rubbing and patience. But be real careful you don't bend any fins!!!

Top half was bad but the bottom was worse!

UPDATE!

Broke down on the weekend as the plug end on the king HT lead is crap! so gonna need a set of leads!!! its zip tied for now.

Also sprayed my spare inlet manifold Matt Black :thumbsup:

So that should go on Friday.

Ordered new gaskets including rocker cover gasket so i can spray that over the weekend also.

Any ideas on colour for the cover???!! Im thinking black aswell but kinda like the idea of blue... :wacko:

£350 For the front bumper, rear bumper and removing original 'glanza' stickers from rear quarters - they were a nightmare and no way was i gonna get them off.

No the cheapest but amazing job!

TO DO LIST BEFORE JAPFEST:

1. Fit Springs

2. Fit Decat

3. Source and Fit Exhaust ????? Money dependant!!

4. Remove manifold heat shield etc + Tidy engine bay

5. Apply JDM stickers - terardrop, made in japan barcode, pedo bear + id-workz!

6. Spray and fit new gearbox (if time allows)

Just worked out it was you I spoke to briefly by the track briefing building, nice to meet you dude. Car looked sweet saw it when you left the meet point!

lol yea, i just posted in the after japfest thread saying the same thing...surely your exhaust wasnt THAT loud?!?!? Glad it was the time you sold...not the car lol!!

Ah I didn't see your post

Hahaha it does annoy me sometimes but then it's a Starlet :p

It was nothing on some of the cars on track but was over the limit :(

Getting a silencer put in for JF2 for sure, not missing out on those two track sessions I've booked!
