U2U mak-turbo on TGTT James, I think he'd modify your standard rails for aftermarket seats, and hes up your way too!

Hope that helps!

Phil has Universal frames for his but I can never pronounce tha name of the place he got them from :p:D

I might just get one Bride bucket and let the passenger be thrown about :):p

yes, bride and recaro do, they'll be around 80-175 quid, depending where you get them from and what you want.

i'm looking into bringing some more in, but they'll be a similar price as above.

konig do i believe!

universal ones work a charm mate, i have no complaints about mine!

Phil.

Got any pics. Where did you get it from

no I've no pics of mine man sorry, just one where it bolts to the floor at the front.

i got it from my local motorsport accessories shop, but Carnoissuer also do them so i would guess Demon tweeks do also! just a univasral subframe, bolted staright through the factory holes, but had to have an A-frame welded on in order to pass MOT.

What do you mean by an A-Frame? Ive had a look on Carnoissuer but i cant find any universal ones. They are all tailored unless im looking in the wrong place

sorry im not much help man, the second universal sub i got was from a differnet shop in Bllymena called MotorSport and spares but their website isnt runnin yet, its honestly just a universal frame.

Yes Konig also make them, but can you justify paying £200 for a pair of frames which may only fit the Konig seat range which hasnt got the biggest choices around.

Some Bride frames will fit Corbeau Recliners and maybe more dont ask me what model frames though

Posted

bride/recaro frames are flat bases, so they'll fit pretty much any flat bottomed seat with little to no fabrication work needed.

Yeah i may end up buying the bride frames, I was lookin at buying the ZetaIII buckets from bride.. But at 300 a seat its a lotta cash lol..

The money i could save buyig come cobras or 2nd hand recaros could go on harnesses :p

but i wanna keep it jdm :p

are you joking?

mate, my dad does it for a living, and the ONLY seats he recommends are recaro or bride.

if you said sparco to him, he'd laugh in your face, seriously.

alot of old recaro recaros will need repairing, ofcourse they will, because the material is like, 10+ years old (and is only a fine cloth to begin with, to aid fabric breathing etc), they're definately the finest though, especially if you get comparing them to other seats.

sparco, corbeau, cobra, rage etc etc, all absolute shite (he's had them all apart, so knows what he's talking about).

rs turbos are old, so as above, thats why the seats will have degraded, any seat will after use when they're old.

you chuffing goober.
