Michael! Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 (edited) I had a jperformance one mate and that was a pain in the arse to fit, but i think ya shud be fine with the blitz one! i think the only thing that will be tough is removing the bolts at the bottom of the cat, whicch bolts it to the rest of the exhaust. Is the de-cat braced?? Edited March 23, 2012 by Michael! Quote

Michael! Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 id recommend bracing it, ya dont want the weight of the de-cat and exhaust resting on the turbo Quote
cazzac2222 Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Blitz De-Cats are braced mate, they brace to the standard A/C mounting bracket. Pritty hard to align the holes though, See pic below Quote
Matt1878 Posted March 23, 2012 Author Posted March 23, 2012 Can I not use the standard cat bracket and brace the blitz to that? Quote
cazzac2222 Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 Sorry yeah thats what i meant lol the standard CAT bracket Quote

m11xky Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Im thinking of fitting mine today....Do it need gasket sealer of some sort? or can i just bolt off, bolt on. I have the front pipe and turbo gaskets but my brother seemed to think it needs this stuff???Mike Quote
akyakapotter Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Nope no sealer is needed that's what the gaskets are for mate. I want to do mine but its pissing it down. Quote

akyakapotter Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 It's even More annoying for me as I used to have a decat but mot came round. So had to put my cat back on made it so much slower. I'll get round to it if there's a brake in the rain in the mean time GT5 :-) Quote
