Keenoep82
I've never used them, but Scat rods are meant to be the fucking nuts...
Whitecurrant
I was looking at them but heard u get stung by import tax on them. it might be cheaper getting them from iddres in the long run.
DevonGT
Those seem expensive, I'm sure they can be got for cheaper.
AdamB
Thought they were £399 over here? Might of seen that price on TD website. They do the job but wouldn't be my choice of rod which is why i've gone with Pauter.
Asad
cheapest/heaviest rods avaliable...also need the block notchedas above pauter would be my choice ^if your on a budget get some decent pistons (cp/je/ross) and stick to the stock rev limit
AdamB
The reason I went with Pauter was because I didn't want to notch the block, touching the material at all could induce stress fractures/cracks. Yes you can sonic test for these, but you won't ever find a problem until you are running serious pressures in the combustion chamber.
bongskag
yep I got my pistons from that guy cheapest anywhere, , ask him to mark the value down, I didnt pay any import tax for some reason... I bought pistons only, he does a few parts, pauter x beam rods too ,dont think you have to notch with those ?
