Might try them again i'm sure they would like my money! Quote
Starletmeech Posted May 18, 2007 Author Posted May 18, 2007 haha, you can tell a lot from some one's voice! Deffo not going with them again, what is AF like? Quote
Mikey Jay Posted May 18, 2007 Posted May 18, 2007 Elephant are ok by the way.Although they'll insure mods, they will only replace them with Standard parts in an accident, which is odd....... Quote
Starletmeech Posted May 18, 2007 Author Posted May 18, 2007 yeah that is ok with me! got to make it to january though! Do they charge much for the mods? Quote
Starletmeech Posted May 19, 2007 Author Posted May 19, 2007 really? they didn't seem to like me for some bizzare reason! Might be an up date soon! dunno how much of an update but there probably will be one! Quote
Starletmeech Posted May 20, 2007 Author Posted May 20, 2007 no update for people but here is a nice photo, Quote
Starletmeech Posted May 22, 2007 Author Posted May 22, 2007 I think it may have been wet in the event of taking that photo, just ground wet, not car wet! Quote
Starletmeech Posted May 31, 2007 Author Posted May 31, 2007 Right, i am thinking about meshing th grille! How hard is it to remove the slats? Quote
Starletmeech Posted May 31, 2007 Author Posted May 31, 2007 and then filling the holes? did you use fibre glass or just resin filler? Quote
Idrees Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 Ready mixed fibreglass, its the easiest and strongest method as far as i know! Quote
Starletmeech Posted May 31, 2007 Author Posted May 31, 2007 Hard to work with? I don't imagine it being that hard to use, and can i get it easily? Quote
Sparky Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 If your careful enough with the hack saw you may not need to do that although the horizontal slats are the biatch All I did was hacksaw teh fucker and didnt even bother meshing it Quote
Starletmeech Posted May 31, 2007 Author Posted May 31, 2007 is that not a problem for potential debris getting into the engine as there is just a huge fuck off hole in the front? I thought you might not need to fill in the vericle slats holes but the horizontal ones do they not leave a big hole? Quote
Sparky Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 I drove round like that for over a year with no problems Yea its the horizontal ones which make a bit of mess Quote
Starletmeech Posted May 31, 2007 Author Posted May 31, 2007 did you even repaint the bumper? i might do a full respray when i've cut it because there are a few scuffs on it! Quote
Sparky Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 nah just cut it and left it done a pretty good job Quote
Starletmeech Posted May 31, 2007 Author Posted May 31, 2007 wow if i can do that i'd be happy! how did you not mark the bumper? I suppose i could try and do it your way and then if it goes tits up i can always drive on down to get some Fibre glass! Quote
Idrees Posted May 31, 2007 Posted May 31, 2007 The slats on one of my cousins N/A have been cut out and not smoothed, and it looks gash close up. His cars the same colour as yours Meech, i'd rather do the full and proper job Quote
Starletmeech Posted May 31, 2007 Author Posted May 31, 2007 ahh cool, thanks for the advise! I will give it a go sometime! need to get the fibreglass and shit ready before i start! Quote
Starletmeech Posted June 7, 2007 Author Posted June 7, 2007 What do people think about if i kept my 13's on the front and had some similar 15's on the rear?I think it would look good! Also do people think it would be possible to make some sort of Quade light layout, simalar to that of the GT for and EP91? I am thinking about giving it a go, see what it would look like! Quote
Sparky Posted June 7, 2007 Posted June 7, 2007 Would look like a tractor Good idea, would like to see what you some up with though I think I would prefer projector style lights for my car, modern it up a bit. If only I had the know-how Quote
