think the troubles have returned!

Recommended Posts

Ok so ever since finishing my most recent engine swap on my car over a year ago now its been an absolute gem, nothing gone wrong at all.

That is until last friday when it desided it would be a good idea to pop a rad hose at midnight! Yeah nice1.

So today I set about fixing to to stop it happening again and in doing so notice the crank pulley has a slight wobble, so go check its tight. As I reach in with the spanner I notice a bolt wedged through the cambelt cover between the pulley the oil pump housing! Oh shit im thinking.

So proceed to Take the cambelt cover of to find the belts fubar'd , and that a bolts fallen out of the engine mount! Ok so its my own fault for not locktighting them etc but It just feels like its the start of a bad begining.... Again!!

Anyway heres a link to a pic on my facebook

Im guessing im lucky I caught it when I did, an that it didnt go when I was 160miles from home, which would also have meant a new engine as this ones an interferance one. Just a ball ache to do a cambelt in car now lol
