hi, i think my actuator is faulty but notsure, when i accelerate it fells pretty laggy and theres a hissing noise that i thought was a leaky dumpvalve but replaced it with a hks ssqv and its still the same, i was told the actuator wasnt working by someone, anyone have any advice?

thanks Stefan

I had the same when I bought mine, you'd see it boost up and then as the revs increased the boost would start to drop on the gauge and you could hear a strange noise. I replaced mine with a HKS actuator as it was on my to do list anyway

Sounds like a boost leak more then anything else. Pressurise your boost hoses and listen when engines turned off (can do it with a compressor and abit of inginuity(SP))

Other then that, replace actuator and try again, there only £5/10 second hand or throw a HKS on if your staying CT9

thanks for the advice, its going to my mates garage tomorow so he can check everything and picking up a hks actuator for £20 so should get it sorted soon
