Max9650
just got another reply from him... he said ... new turbo fitted running at 0.6 would need the apexi neo setting up correctly , is this correct cause it has a fcd so i thought you could just turn it up to 1bar and ideally get a new ecu
akyakapotter
you need the fueling altered aswell mate to run at 1bar rrfpr or the best way aftermarket ecu
Max9650
would u need bigger injectors its got a rrfpr but i would get an aftermark ecu in maybe 2months i wouldnt want it more then 220bhp as dont want to forge it
akyakapotter
im putting td04 on mine soon im leaving the standard injectors in running it on 0.8 low 1bar high useing fcd and rrfpr and 255l fuel pump running the fcd and rrfpr set up untill i can afford an emanage ultimale
Max9650
how much is the fuel pump roughly and how much are you expecting from 0.8/1 bar cheers
shorty
The neo will need setting up as its a furl controller. at 1 bar you will get around 210-220. And it doesnt sound dodgey. The fcd allows the neow to control fuel above the preset oem fuel cut. a walbro pump is around 70 quid iirc. and by all meas set the boost to a bar and not set up the neo but id estimate you will blow your engine in less than a week lol.In short its all there bar the pump to run a bar but you must have the neo set up for it to boost 1bar also a neo set up is far cheaper than a remap on an ecu. Max9650
so it just needs a 70 quid fuel pump, then how much roughly to set up the apexi neo, so it will be safe as long as i dont go over 0.6bar until then
Max9650
also it worrys me that they have boosted it about before they have set it up correctly and already done damage
shorty
Roughly 100quid or so at a guess for set up and i wouldnt panic. i was td04 @.6 for aaaaaagggges and ragged the tits out of it. oem fuel cut is .8 on the small ct9 so .6 on the td04 shud fuel ok till very high revs where it will prob lean out ever so slightly. the oem ecu overfuels a fairbit when more air flows so .6 should cuase no damage dude. Max9650
ok cheers shorty, and where is best to get a walbro 255 installed
Max9650
with the neo u cant adjust boost pressure either ... it has a hks acuator
shorty
Neo is litraly a fuel level controller. but more acurate than a rrfpr and fcd alone. hks actuator will alow for more boost though just gotta wind the actuator arm on it. As for walbro fit it yourself bud ait hard tbh just fookin stinks the car out with fuel for a bit lol.
