rob_bower
Don't worry, not me!!! I'm not being a traitor! We're looking at getting an 06 plate clio for the missus (new and practical!) and we've found one...-06 plate-Clio campus 1.5dci 65-Less than 7,000 miles on the clock-West london renault dealer-2yr warranty left-£5995What would you pay? ;) Serious now. No messing around. We're going tomorrow to pick it up if all's ok on inspection.Anything I really need to look for? Anything I need to ask about? Its just neither of us is this hot on buying cars this new! ;) We've had an N-reg corsa, an H-reg fiesta and my SR.Oh yeah...one more important thing...tax is £35 per year! ;) Thats less than a pair of jeans according to the missus! ;)
Bourkey
The warranty left is a good thing. My mate has the same clio and the only problems he has had with it have been electrical. Windows, alarm, lights just randomly not working. But if it's under warrenty then you would get it fixed for free. Nice car to drive. nothing special but comfortable. Personally though (not just because it's a Toyota) i would have the Yaris. My mum has one, My friend has one, and i know of others who have them and they have never had a single problem with them. Im quite liking the 1.5 T-sport at the moment aswell. The new Suzuki swift is also anther favourite of mine.Im only making suggestions because of the problems my mate has had but it's personal taste at the end of the day. Sparky
Sounds like a good price and not a bad car for a girl to be honest ;)
Bourkey
Oh it's definately a good car. The seats hold you really well and the engine you are taling about has enough ommmph to pull the car. My friend has never had any problems with the engine. I've actually just sourced a good 1.2 model for a friend at work which she now has.I like the exhaust in the middle on the sport model. I also think the handling is alright aswell. If you look after a renault you wont have any problems but if you don't, then being french it will break all the time. Fogdoggydog
^^ I was gonna say that! ^^I don't think you could go far wrong with that clio. Only 7k on the clock and 2 years warranty. Any newer and you'd be buying a brand new car!!
