Guest Enzo
a guy called captain starlet who was around in the early stages of uksc had a media center in his car which was a special computer case motherboard, processor and memory that he mounted under his seat and hooked it up to a touch screan moniter in the dash, just think500 gig hard drive full of tunes and media to watch, it can be wireless too so you could be parked outside and still acces things inside
Fogdoggydog
I was thinking of this - putting a touch-screen monitor that fits inside a DIN slot, and hooking it up to a PC that would under the front seat. But it would be a bit pricey for me. You can get the screens on eBay, but I have heard no reports about how good they are. You can get special pc components that are suited to 12V applications such as a car from this site if it interests you.Instead of the full touch screen pc idea, I've decided to go along the lines of a DIY Hard Drive based mp3 player for my car. More details in my thread soon.

Bourkey
I've fitted these to many cars.I'll get photos of my work up here tomorrow. It's quite a big job to do to get the whole lot in. Fitting the headunit is pretty much like any other and slots in quite easily. It's mounting the tv equipment and PS2 and tucking the meters of wires you have that is the hard bit.If your gonna have TV i'd recommend a freeview box for your car as the standard tv is crap in a car. And for a PS2 id recommend the slim ones as they are so much easier to fit. It all looks really cool when it works and i've made so many people happy by putting this in their cars. Im not really into it to be honest as im going lightweight and it's just not what i want. I may change my mind and do it one day.

Tintin_SR
i got a flip out tv with a ps2 in mine, gonna get an xbox instead tho so i can save my tunes to itJust use the exu port in the back of most cd players just get a cable with the phonon end on one side and a headphone end on the other then just plug in what ever you want eg ipod phone I have my phone on it itâ??s the best hands free I no. and itâ??s a bit cheaper that all then other sound system integrated hands free systems you can get! Cost me fuck all and the ipod goâ??s on it as well then other ones cost bout £90 bottom of the range Or you can get a new head unit that has Bluetooth in it but then to get your tons to play proper you need a phone that has audio streaming like the sony ericsson w 850i Tintin
