will 5w-40 fully syn oil be okay?

its a freash build , new bearings , pistons , piston rings , gaskets ect, all replacememt toyota parts. (ACL bearings)

need a oil to use on run in - suggestions please

but 5w40 fully syn will be alright to use once run in ? got 600liter sitting at work so would be idea if i can use it :)

throw a hard drive magnet or something of the sort in the sump to catch anything/everything then after its run in remove it....oh and take pics of it lol

cant remember but its fusch titan 5w40 or 5w30 opie reccommend for the EP`s

Yup use mineral oil. It will protect the engine during running in. And once the engine is run in don't use fully synthetic. These engines are not designed to use it. Semi synth is more than adequate. The fully synthetic has less protective qualities than semi synth. And is also quite thin.
