spray painting (rattle cans )

right guys done a bit before , but just seeing if any of you have any good tips.

im gonna be doing my front bumper in satin black , i know its not gonna be brilliant but dont want it to be all patchy

Its all in the prep make sure surface is smooth and clean.

When spraying begin to spray before you aim at the bumper and make clean swoops over it with the paint.

Make sure you dont apply the paint too thick you can always add more coats but taking them off is more difficult.

Also get the can warm, preferably about room temp if not a bit warmer. Also if you can spray in a warm place the results will be better.

You can also get better nozzles that have a better spray and less spit. Someone did link to them once before, he did his front bumper and had really good results

it was this fella im pretty sure that got the different nozzles.

cant remember if it was in build thread or not but hope that helps.

and yes take your time. i spray canned a wing and well.. it came out shit lol. for what it cost me in paint/primer/laquer/sandpaper, was about half to two thirds what it would cost getting properly sprayed. just to bear in mind.
