_shaun_ Posted July 7, 2012 Share Posted July 7, 2012 been debating when to take the car off the road to start work on it filled up the car with petrol today and went out a drive and seen the traffic give me a flash to pull over. pulled over and they asked if i new my mot expired yesterday lucky they seen my stunned face and just told me to take it home and park it up till it was sorted so have decided now is the perfect time to take it off the road for a few months just gutted i only got to drive it a few hours last month and its now got a full tank of v power in it lol. on to bigger and better things and hopefully ill get it up and running in time to hit next years show season and put a few faces to the names Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Get a build thread started and keep it up to date, most of us have barely ever seen 1-2 pictures of your car in the years you've been on here! Make sure you cover the fuel pipes up near the fuel filter when the engines out so save that V-Power. I use masking tape to wrap up the end of the pipe and it works good. _shaun_ Posted July 7, 2012 Author Share Posted July 7, 2012 yea am horrid for pictures i go out to take a few pictures and end up driving for hours and forgetting lol. not much will be done next 2 months or so will just be getting odd parts moving into a house with a garage so thats prob gonna take up some cash for abit. ive done a fair bit to the car since ive had it but nothing close to what i want only way to get it done was to take it off the road. got a plan in my head what i want to do a few things left to figure out but hopefully once its done it will be a one of a kind Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Did you get yourself a lock up sorted?going to do as much as i can anything i struggle with ill prob outsource but have alot of respect for people like iddy and taggy who just seem to get stuck in and still do a perfect job. so seems only fair to try it myself. no lockup yet me and the misses are looking to get a house with a garage but we are looking after her 3 sisters right now as her mums sick so its kinda been put to one side for the moment so bodywork will be last on the list once thats been sorted Edited July 7, 2012 by _shaun_ Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Any help you need mate you can always give me a shout. Im kinda going between my car and ma pals r33 since hes found new love for it the money is now flowing into it lol.
