Start up engine smokin loads with video

No ive had them done , il check turbo but it used to do it with old one. Maybe just is because the piston bores are super smooth?

Is one of the pcv valve pipe supposed to blow air ive never checked it

Thats not a turbo. Its the valve stem seals, piston rings or a damaged piston...

EDIT: No pcv valve pipe is not supposed to blow air. It sounds like a piston problem.

Do i get another engine? ( trying to but hard to get hold of one)

Do i sell my bbs splits off to buy a forged engine?

Do i buy a bottom end and put new bearing rings etc in that and bolt to mine?

But it will have to be a second hand one cant afford new they do come up for 1200-1500 dont they?

The head on my engine is new. Looks new. Is new. Has been shimmed skimmed new stem seals etc only been used 600 miles it worth anything

I dont have that much money my uncle can fit but i buy a use one thats run in and ready to drop in . Hooefully a stage two. Only difference between stage one and 2 is arp headbolts?

Hey Hawwy didnt you not long go TD04? I am going to bet my left ball that you have been running to much boost on standard internals, i.e anything over 1.1bar :)

Your not the first to turn up the boost controller and not the last lol!!

lol at turn up the boost controller comment. gutted if you endd up with a right nut!!

Get a compression test done

check the turbo for oil

Hey

Well i hadnt even hardly boosted not even mapped yet taggy.

Mechanic said its because bores are smooth? No crosshatching

Evident as it needs oil in hatches to keep lubed , somebody over at tgtt said same thing.

I had top end rebuilt not long ago.

Running outa money now

I got compression tester whats best way of doing it
