Temperature Guage

Recommended Posts

Hey guys and gals

recently put a forged engine in my glanza replica. Got the engine and wiring out of a ep91 which got it from a ep82 gt.

Pretty much as soon as i start the car the temperature guage goes all the way up :/ going crazy..went over wiring a few times

for the GT engines does the signal for temperature go to the ECU then to the dash? cause i think there is a temperature port on the ECU

if anyone can help me it will be good

thanks

You've put the spade connector on the wrong sensor by the sound of it, easy fix.

x2, theres one connection on the thermo housing which goes straight to the dash, tiny spade connector, single wire.

thanks for all the help guys :)

also forgot to mention i got a glanza dash..so from the thermo housing run it straight through to the dash with a single wire?

was looking at the ECU and there is 2 cables that might lead to the dash also
