standard 4efe cat?

can you smash the insides of the 4efe out? mines starting to rattle and I've read you can smash them out and its like a semi decat

The rattles prob a heat sheild, n yes you can but 4efes are a single section from mani to back box, so you would have to cut the cat out to do it then weld it back in. In which case you may aswel just put a straight pipe in ;)

Gutted cats have pretty rubbish flow on an FTE so I wouldn't even try on a 4efe, better just to get a straight pipe
