steviet
Fitted front bumper crash bar last night, but not to sure if its mounted correct. I have the bar bolted at each end to the headlight brackets and in the middle mounted to chassis legs.Is there another bracket in the centre for support?cheers Stevie
turbo Grant
There should be a bracket that bolts to your slam panel support brace

turbo Grant
Not a very good pic. Just pulled it from google. The bar in the middle it bolts too. Most people remove it when a front mount is fitted. But then the bonnet doesn't shut right and looks like its going too fly up when driving. You don't really need to have it bolted too the bumper bar. But the slam pannel support bracket is a must when using standard catch. It's ok when you have pins. steviet
Ok I see what you mean,I have that bracket in picture but the bumper bar has a bolt fixing in the middle but I don't have a bracket to bolt bumper bar and middle bracket that catch mounts to. turbo Grant
Will be fine without the middle bolt. I've cut the middle bit out my bumper bar haha
