morgey Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 So have you changed the thermostat then? Quote
Idrees Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Sorry mate, I completely misread your post. Quote
morgey Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Oh and chances are its not your fan thats weak, more likely your cabin/pollen filter is clogged up. Quote
Ashley-starlet Posted January 15, 2013 Author Posted January 15, 2013 Oh and chances are its not your fan thats weak, more likely your cabin/pollen filter is clogged up.Didn't no the sr had a filter on the non ac model..? Quote
rmsnoel Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 If your temp guage isnt rising then theres a fair chance.the thermo is stuck open, or failed. I would go with an.air pocket.though.When shes.cold take off the radiator cap and allow her to warm up whilst squeezing hoses to clear bubbles etc. look doen at the waterpump woth a torch because if the pump fails it has wee weep holes that leak to alert u to the problem, thank you mr toyota. by the way my bottom jose doesnt warm in this cold weather either Quote
rmsnoel Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Pollen filter is under glovebox and can be easily temoved by pulling out the 3 black knobs on the bottom of the thingy..Keep us posted Quote
Ashley-starlet Posted January 18, 2013 Author Posted January 18, 2013 So I've checked and it has got a pollen filter.. My old starlet sportif don't.. But there's no button for the a/c in the sr? What the hell is going in in my cars life? Cleaned pollen filter out and it ls soo much better but havnt checked the pipes yet. Quote
rmsnoel Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 SR all had pollen filters. At least it isnt a glanza that.should.have had ac lol. If you fit glanza ac button to your starlet it still lights up.. Quote
