lincoln wood Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 Just recently built a 5efhe +T but am having issues finding a gear box have got a mate with a ae 101 LSD 5speed but heard they don't fit and the ae111 LSDs are hard to come by wat would be your guys suggestions thanks lincoln. Quote

morgey Posted January 18, 2013 Posted January 18, 2013 The ae101 5speed boxes are the same as ae111 boxes just with different gear ratio's.If you use the bell housing from the 5efhe you should be able to use almost any gearbox that any 4e/5e/4a or 7a series engine came with as they all use 'C' series gearboxes (apart from 4agZe's i have heard they are different maybe an 'S' series)The only thing you would need to check is that your driveshafts fit into the gearbox correctly.
