Steve GT
I've approved this for now but could you please copy pics over so they show up on the thread please instead of a link. The rules require pics to be displayed on the actual thread. This normally means copying the IMG code rather than the direct link on your hosting siteThanks

Zeldoz
If this was a cat-d it's been crashed. If its stolen there not recorded a cat, there recorded as stolen and recovered.
Edwardo01
The car doesn't have to have been crashed. It just means that repair costs outweigh the costs of just writing it off. It is a lot more complicated than that really but it is all due to costs and the insurance company. For example one of my old cars was a write off but all that had happened was someone had popped the window and sliced all the seats and gone at the dash with a knife. Turbo Goose
Attempted theft cars can be classed as cat d. Bought one before
Turbo Goose
I quote D - Repairable salvage. Minimal damage sometimes stolen and found after claim has been paid, or cost of repair combined with difficulty obtaining new parts to enable a swift repair.
