Should i get tints on my GT?

Recommended Posts

I will be getting money from my uncle to go and get my windows tinted this friday but i dont know whether to get them or not. I haven't seen any GT's with tints, seen loadsa glanzas tinted though and i quite like it. My GT is silver so would dark tints go well or the silver tints? Totally undecided help me please its a dilemma of mad proportions haha...

The gt's look mint with tints, but only get the 3 rear windows done as the police are clamping down big time on the fronts. have a look in extreem ep rides there are plenty of gt's with tints including mine.

Looks awesome on the black GT, will it look as good on the silver you think? I thought you could get the front windows smoked as long as there only 70% or something?

i wouldn't even touch them mate, they come tinted from the factory and the police are being right cunts about them, my friend got hers torn off at the side of the road by the police because they only let 37% light through. they should look good on a silver one, or as lobotomy said try smoked ones. Go to the shop and hold a few up to your car and see which ones suit it better.

Do it but light smoked only! Any darker look pretty shit on a GT in my opinion!

You can get the fronts done to a maximum of 17.5% or something, my front ones are tinted very slightly.

You need to declare everything you do to your car that isn't OEM fitment... or your "dads" insurance will be void

I will declare them then, dont want my dad getting stopped by the police and told off.
