Crack around exhaust mounting bracket

I noticed the other day that there was a crack around the exhaust mounting bracket on the far passenger side bracket were the mani bolts onto the head is this bad

if u mean its the manifold thats cracked it aint gonna do it any favours an it aint gonna get any better, gives u an excuse to upgrade it tho

It's the block where the bolt goes into it,not mani.

Depends where exactly you mean.Sometimes the head has tiny heat fractures around the bolt holes..any pictures?

From what i saw today it's at the base of the raised part against the block where the bolts go.

On the head itself or not? Its quite common for the head to crack, mine had a crack when i bought it and enzo's old v did the same.

Its not cheap to replace the head but its the only option if thats the problem, welding it won't fix it properly.

Only worry when you notice a performance loss, or it sounds like a tank rolling down the road..

If not, dont worry..even brand new cars will have tiny fractures in the head around stud holes etc, obviously keep an eye on them as ideally you dont want any.

Dont even bother thinking about welding it, waste of time.
