Jordk Posted February 9, 2013 Share Posted February 9, 2013 I have recently changed the gearbox oil in my Glanza gearbox and have noticed a distinctive clunk at speeds below 40mph (accelerating and decellerating). It never did this before the last thing I did was a full service. It's fitted with a trd LSD (metal plated type). I realise the diff will naturally knock slightly at slow speeds but this is ridiculous and the car jolts about violently. The oil is Fuchs 75w90 stuff (black bottle with red label can't remember the name). Any clues to what might cause this? Simply wrong oil or perhaps a loose mount/collapsed bearing?
