1.3 SR idle control Valve

Recommended Posts

No lol. Is your broke cause that sensor is ok, its probably the valve thats stuck. Tske off that sensor spray wd40 into idle hole in throttlebody opening and turn the idle valve shaft left n right abit to free it up. U can also unscrew it and clean it withe a matchstick or screwdriver.

My bad if im wrong lad. Does idle rise when if u unplug the sensor and did u clean the throttlebody with engine off and holding open throttle

hmm right, basically the car is idling at 2k and when I unplug the plug going into the sensor the revs drop to 1500k, i took the throttle body off, gave it a good clean and also took that sensor off and sprayed with carb cleaner.. so thats why i thought it must be the sensor?

underneath the sensor, the little knob thing is that the idle control valve? I sprayed that with carb cleaner and tried moving it but it seemed solid so i thought it was meant to be that way!
