starletburkie
just fitted my td04 kit with turbosmart 38mm ex wg, it had 2 springs inside to mate it 14psi so i removed one, one was small and one was big so i removed the big one, it creeps from 0.5 bar upto 0.7 bar trew the revs, any way to stop that? boost controller is set at 0 and so is the gain
pick1
Try a stronger spring mate
starletburkie
its a 7psi spring should be enough for a bar
AdamB
How are you reading boost pressure mate? From a gauge or the EBC? What brand is the gauge and EBC? Edited February 14, 2013 by AdamB
starletburkie
blitz gauge and dsbc, both are accurate mate would it be that the controller is not set up and its just wg spring pressure?
AdamB
Have you tried removing the EBC from the situation and just run base spring pressure bud? If your running 0 gain anyway I doubt it will be the controller. Have you turned the boost down to 0 on the dsbc or have you switched it to the - - - - position as this is technically off.
