Some people prefer to just use normal engine oil as it can become a pain with the dilution of assembly lube and oil together. It depends how long you plan on "storing" the engine for. If its only going to be for a week or so, then use engine oil. Anything longer you would be best using an engine assembly lube. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
