steve-gers
Trying to diagnose my clutch problem today and took a quick video of the movement of my slave cylinder (link below). Could somebody have a look at there cylinder aswell and have a look to see if this amount of movement is enough to push clutch or whether it is not. Thanks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lIvjLeX2wA4
StuDoc 72
Its hard to say mate less movement than you think is needed what exactly is wrong is the clutch not disengaging at all?
steve-gers
When the pedal is on the floor it is basically engaged around 10-20% (at a guess) no slipping at all through the gears in boost though. Must be the clutch broke up or fecked bearing but the bearing is not and has never been noisey.
rmsnoel
Pull the rubber boot back on the slave cylinder on front of the gearbox and check for leaks. Give it a quick bleed and test again
StuDoc 72
Shorten the rod on the pedal inside the car buddy that probably the issue. After you've checked for leaks and bled of course.
steve-gers
No leaks behind boot, will bleed tomorrow and see. Ut went from being fine to fecked without notice so just a bit strange.
StuDoc 72
Try adjusting the pedal and see if that helps mate all you need is a 12 or 14mm spanner worth a shot.
