Oil pressure light

Help. Since I changed the oil and put new 10 40 semi syn the oil light flashes in no order for a min from cold start. But when warm oil pressure is 28psi when driving its around 60psi but cold start its below 10 and oil light flashes. Please help

What oil filter did you use? On cold start the pressure should be pretty high, around 5 bar since the oil is still thick it creates a greater pressure.

Was a Mann oil filter. No my pressure is deff low when cold.

My pressure was at 55-60 psi when cold lowering to 15-20 when hot on tick over, something's not right

Is it possible the wires wrong way? Would that do that

Only one wire to the oil pressure switch. That shouldn't be wrong. Could be the strainer in the sump blocked a bit. The oil change could have dislodged some shit

I have a after market oil pressure gauge on sandwich plate for oil filter with two wires.

Your on about the oil light on the dash flickering? The 2 wire pressure sensor will have an earth and a signal wire

I have the dash light flickering from cold and a aftermarket oil psi guage. This starts at 10 psi from cold. Low oil pressure when cold but fine when warm.

At last. Was the o ring on pick up pipe.

Glad you found out the problem. Had to be some thing on the pick up side of things
