funny onion Posted March 18, 2013 Posted March 18, 2013 turn key to IGN leave it for 5 seconds, so fuel pump primes, then fire her up..see if she fires better like that..I may be wrong but on these engines The fuel pump doesn't prime unless the starter motor is engaged. Ie it will only prime if the engine is turning over. Quote

Collins611 Posted March 19, 2013 Posted March 19, 2013 Mine exactly the same I just had the head done and new valve springs etc And the guy snapped the temperature sencor plug of so he used 2 prongs that slot over the teeth so it reads temperature but....My EML is no on rilli struggles to start but when warm first time U can smell loads of petrol when it eventually starts ????? Get a new temperature plug ??? Or swap the prongs around ????? Quote
