If it has the hot side of the ct9 bored out to fit the ct20 then yes it will be a stright swap

You can use an internal gate normal ct series turbos run internal gates. You could run it with just changing your manifold and downpipe

Unless this turbo has had the penny welded for externally gated use? In which case you could easily get another turbine housing and make it back to standard.

Yep been welded, but Yesh can change it if needed.

If it's straight swap, why need to change manifold and downpipe?

We are not talking about a specific CT20 turbo, but a stock one.

Edit: I see we are talking for a specific turbo.

But my question is: A stock CT20 turbo, will fit the normal CT9 setup? What is the power gain?

What is even the point then you would need a custom mani and decat. Fair enough its good to be different but not like anyone would know better just to use a td04 cheaper, more widely available and alot more reviewed.

A tdo4 setup and ct20 setup is the same,same price to, Ive had both, would rather have ct20 because it's a lot faster plus it's only a hybrid,
