running a jam ecu, dose it need seting up

Recommended Posts

Does my jams ecu need seting up, is because, I bought this ecu of a chap on ebay, he was breaking his starlet gt as the bottem end went twice,

I had this on my starlet gt for about 8 weeks and the bottom end has gone,

I plugged it in and let it tick over for 30 min like people said to do, so it ( self learns)

I was wondering if it is the ecu that the problem.

Its because I am dropping a forged engine in it ready for japfest, and I dont wnt the bottom end goin angen

Any info would be great

Will a rolling road specialist have a wideband? I am running a hybrid ct9 at 1 bar, I am hopeing to run the same hybrid turbo as same boost, the shells have gone, so engine was knocking, so removed for a forged engine now

If I take it to rollers will I need to fit a fuel pressure regulator, so they can play with the fuelling?

Also congratulations on the baby news, from me and jade,
