rorenapier Posted May 7, 2013 Share Posted May 7, 2013 Of course the strip is wank, its an old airfiled that cant be touched!Drag radials will give a little bit more at Crail but not much. Semi slicks will give good gains, R888, A048 etc etc. Crails only slow because folk dont know how to drive to diffirent conditions/tracks. ;)I managed 1.9 60ft last time i was there on semi slick tyres 13 sec flat pass with a fluffed gear change in a 250WHP motor.. I need a forged engine lol I raced against Dereks car and although it was close he didn't beat me. ;) I ran on Goodyear f1's which was a bad choice as I couldn't get any grip and my 60ft times were terrible as they were all over 2seconds and I can do 1.6 secs all day long. Even accelerating down the track the car was all over the place. I think my car would be more suited to Santa Pod for a good time Quote Link to post Share on other sites
