Glanza-Ben Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 As I work for Vw and use to be into the Vw scene I fort I would build this is my spare time It started off as a old Cupra r show car I had which was 212bhp but got bored of it so fort why not swap it to a polo 6n2 here's a few pics of it so far only spend a hour or 2 on it a week Quote
Glanza-Ben Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 Hopefully it will the dash is all in fine lines up with polo interior only things left to do really is mount engine wire it back in and fit the shafts hubs Brakes off the Cupra onto the polo there's no proper wiring as have use the whole loom from the seat so just gotta joint the rear lights wires up and away it goes touch wood just keeps me busy when I'm bored Quote
Malcolm GT Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Is it a normal swap, does it fit well? Will be a quick car! Quote
Billy SR Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 this is going to be nuts, bit of a rare car to break though you nutter! Quote

Na the interior is a straight swap as the Ibiza is based on a 6n2 polo inside but outside its based on a mk3 golf so engine sits on the subframe instead of side mounts but we are using the front cross member and mount off the cupra and side mounts off a mk4 1.8t I got quote name="Billy SR" post="826504" timestamp="1366563489"]this is going to be nuts, bit of a rare car to break though you nutter!
