Is my filter too big?

I've got a HKS mushroom filter, it's quite big, 100mm inlet size, I believe it's from a supra or something. Seems to be in good nick but obviously would need a reducer to fit my 55mm relocation kit.

Is it worth it or is it just too big and un restrictive?

You want it to be more restrictive ? I really don't know why you would want to add restrictions to be honest.

If you have the filter, use it. Just buy a reducer and bolt it up.

I would say get the reducer and fit it there will be no probs with it.

Yeah that's true, why would you add restriction. Can only let more air in. Will be front facing too. I'll get a reducer
