Breather filter help needed

Hi all got back of holiday yesterday drove car etc.opened bonnet while it was timing down and when it turned of there was a bit of pressure coming out of the rocket breather filter is this normal.Thanks

You get some pressure yeah, you start to worry when its spewing oil out, same as if you take your oil cap out with the engine running, it'll have a small flow of air coming out.

Hi mate can't seem to find the post.

So a bit of pressure release is normal when the engine switches of.

I'd check your pcv valve just to see if that's maybe knackered

Ok mate ill check that will it harm the engine if i use it till i get a new one
