1991 starlet owner
Are these easy to get out and replace or does the hub need to come off and the bearings pressed out ??Thanks, tom.
har-vey
id also like to know this, the bearing and disk assemblies you can get hold of, are they an easy fit?
Idrees
Yes they are an easy to fit, they aren't pressed in like the fronts. CheersIdreesID-Workz Ltd
Amjad
I think you just place them in, seen a set being removed and they seemed kinda loose-ish (ie not pressed)

StuDoc 72
They are tapered bearings. They dont need to be pressed in but the race will be pressed in. You dont use a socket to tighten them either when you are re fitting them. You screw them tight by hand then use something like water pump pliers to tighten them a little more then there will be a crown for the castle nut and a split pin to stop it coming loose. If you tighten these too much the bearing will over heat and melt welding itself to the stub axle and causing the wheels to lock which could be very dangerous so be careful.
