JPerformance FMIC users EP91, Help with bumper fitting!?

Hi folks,

Anyone using a JPerformance FMIC kit have any problems fitting a 98 spec front bumper? (EP91 Glanza - 98 spec)

My FMIC is not allowing the bumper to sit anyway close at all without having to cut half the front off..!!

Need help asap on this before I go and change my FMIC kit.

Is there any way of mounting it further back? I'm pretty sure you'll need to do at least some trimming

I have a HDi (same size core) on my GT and we fabricated thick metal mounts for the bottom and it's mounted as far back as it can go, the bumper is trimmed and it looks neat IMO

Do you have the middle crash bar still? Mines a 98 with a jperformance cooler and it just about fits. My crash bar has been removed though so it can sit higher.

I've got a 98 spec, with a jperformance kit and crash bar in place, managed to trim mine quite neatly:

I have 96 Spec with a JPerformance FMIC and i had to destroy the bumper though.

I really like the 98 spec one above, You obviously cut out the whole front except the lip did you??

Is the bottom half of your bumper just the lip??
