AHi. Just heard a few peeps saying that u can u bend the water pipes from pump. As the ct9 doesn't need the water lines connected. Saying uses the oil to cool like new turbo cars.

Is this the case? Or will my turbo run too hot.

My car is currently running without turbo waterlines as my thermostat housing hasn't the inlet/outlet for the turbo. You just need to let the car idle for a moment after driving to cool down the turbo, but water will help a lot with the heat soak and I already have a new thermo housing to be changed soon.

The waterlines are there for a reason and this picture will explain it very good

The water cools the turbo buddy so how could it cook anything?

Your more likely to cook the bearings without the water than with them.

Plus its the oil which cooks the bearings not water.

If you have a CT9 and the water lines are there you would be absolutely mental to remove them. They were put there for a reason.
