Guest daveburwash Posted September 13, 2007 Share Posted September 13, 2007 First things first as a tribute to MonkfishMake a brew:)Now jack up the car on the proper points and support the vehicleRemove caliper and pad carrierRemove discAdmire the new discNow thoroughly clean with brake cleaner(posh cleaner courtesy of Kev)You will notice the calipers come with the hose adapter already fitted. DO NOT try to tighten this further, it is a tapered thread and should be like thatRemove 3 torx screws holding on backplateTime for anotherCarefully cut and reamove back plate, SHARP!Thoroughly clean stub axle, the discs are a snug fit and these do need to be cleanFit new discFit new bracket with loctite providedFit new pads to calipers, such a simple neat ideaBolt caliper to bracket with loctiteAs we only did a dry fit as the car is off the road you will need to fit the hoses and bleed the system. Bleed using both TOP bleed nipplesRefit wheel stand back and admire the beautyA job well done!! Link to post Share on other sites
