Licari3
I saw a glanza rebuild recently where someone installed an earthing kit on their car. What does it do ? And are there any gans to installing an earthing kit ?
russ78
the stock earths on starlets are notoriously crap,an aftermarket earthing kit wont give you any extra power imo but will give more positive connections to electrical parts of the car etc
FreedomCore
Sorry to jack your thread but if I were to make my own earth's, where would be the most ideal places to place them be?
russ78
Block, gearbox, chassis/bodywork inlet blah blah blah Edited June 13, 2013 by russ78
EliteMilk
I've never had any hassle with the stock earth points in a gt or glanza.Once I moved the location of the battery to the rear of the car I needed a mega earth kit just to get it to turn over. But I would recommend a earthing kit and also a voltage stabilizer <---- popped 1 of them no dims or judders in the lights when say turning heating on 2 cheap mods ( get a earthing kit that's not just straight from battery top or is looks shit in bay)
Addymk2
Made a massive difference on my Civic, the standard earths were fucked, they can give dyno proven gains on Tegs too, anywhere up to 8bhp, never fitted one to a starlet though. (That's with the voltage stabilisers by the way)
