mech5107
ΑΕΜ is one of the best for everyday use... no calibration needed, accurate enough, easy to install...
Weyro
Best £150 you can spend imo
Chrishoughton1989
Buying now !!! When fitted what reading am I looking for
Weyro
14.7 on idle and with light throttle cruisingand anything lower than 12 when at full throttle and boost just a rough guide, depends on your setup too
Broony
yeah iirc 14.9 is a perfect stoich (or however its spelt) on idle like the lad above said lower is better on boost oh and they are the best piece of mind you can have running a turbo car
mikey4410
innovate is the one i have gone for,had one befor, sooo easy to use and cheap at 150 quid. at full throttle u wana be aiming for 11.4 or 11.5 to be very safe.
Weyro
yea i should have said that 14.7 exactly isnt too important, you can be slightly richer or leaner and itll be fine personally i like to be slightly richer(lower) at cruise and idle
Chrishoughton1989
Thanks. Will report bk with outcome when fitted hopefully weekend.
Chrishoughton1989
Hello all! mine is reading 14.6 ish on light throttle and tick over and low 12 - 13 on hard acceleration? Any good ? Thanks.
AdamB
Whats your setup mate? Seems a little high for WOT. Edited June 30, 2013 by AdamB
Weyro
Yea thats not quite rich enough, you want it to be between 11-12. Do you have an adjustable fuel pressure regulator?
Chrishoughton1989
Yes I do, do I just literally turn it up ?
Chrishoughton1989
Ct9b, Front mount. Manifold. Full exhaust. External wastegate. Afpr. Fcd. Bar boost. Relocated filter. That's about it Edited June 30, 2013 by Chrishoughton1989
TurboTobz
What FCD? If its not jam what numbers itSet on?
AdamB
Has it ever been setup by a tuner? If not I would get it done very soon.
Chrishoughton1989
Thanks. I think it has in past. 12 on a hks fcd. Thanks.
AdamB
Isn't 12 the highest? I'm sure 12 means off? Would be best to get it setup by a tuner tbh mate, or it could end up in disaster.
Chrishoughton1989
I'm not sure tbh lol. Where would set if up ? Thanks.
AdamB
Never used one but I'm sure thats what I've read before that 12 is off. Any tuner with a wideband and det cans should be able to set it up for you, but make sure they have experience with fiddling with fcd's. Not too sure on your area but I would have thought there's plenty of places round your way who have the ability to map a car
Chrishoughton1989
Strange. Why don't I hit fuel cut of its off ?
AdamB
Don't know am just guessing as I've never used FCD's. But am sure thats what I read, might be a Jam unit I was thinking of.
TurboTobz
12's off. 7-8 is the recommended settings, 8 if you can some cars only like 7.1 is full on cut, most affect to the signals provided to ECU 12s standard cut.Jam fcds don't have adjustment iirc, they just come into action after fuel cut.
