AdamB
Haven't been for a few years, but try stay away on weekends if possible. I went on a Saturday and ended up having a bit of a wait for some of the rides. It was my first time I had been and found it ok, once you been on each ride once its a bit boring tbh. You can spend a good few hours there though.

waveyglanza
Its good. Alot of fun lol. As mentioned above can be really packed!
Pobbette
I only live about 15 mins away from Thorpe Park. August will be packed on weekdays too as the school holidays, but stand a better chance than at the weekend. Where abouts in London are you staying? Will you be driving to t/p or you planning on using public transport? Can advise on where to get their bus if you need it
5T4R7ET N/A
if you can afford it. get the unlimited pass, saves having to stand around for ages. stealth is the best ride imo.
Arnold
Busy days, you can expect to wait 1 hour or more per ride, which really does limit what you can do. Fast tracking the whole day would definitely get the most out of it, but will cost a bomb. Great place though!
Blitz
When I went I went to get the fast passes and the people behind the counter said there was no point cause they can see the que times, When we went another time though it was rammed and the fast passes were well worth it

Blitz
If it's in the school holidays (august) like you said I think you'd be sensible getting it online now, cause it's probably going to be busy "/
